ADEPT IMAGERY — 500+ WEDDINGS PHOTOGRAPHED - 150+ FIVE-STAR REVIEWS
I’m James, a Worcestershire wedding photographer with over 500 weddings photographed across the county, from barn venues like The Dodford Inn to countryside settings like The Firs at Hanbury.
I photograph days as they actually feel, relaxed, natural and full of real moments, without turning it into a photoshoot.

I know when to step in, when to hang back, and how to capture the real feel of the day without interrupting it.
APPROACH — RELAXED, STORY-LED WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
A relaxed way of photographing weddings in Worcestershire
Most of the day is not about being photographed. It’s about being in it.

That’s why I keep things relaxed. I’m not there to turn your wedding into a photoshoot or constantly pull you away from it.

I’m there to pay attention, know when to step in, and know when to leave things alone.

The result is wedding photography that feels natural, honest and actually like your day.

Answers to some common questions about wedding photography in Worcestershire.
Do you photograph weddings across Worcestershire?
EXPAND
Yes, I regularly photograph weddings across Worcestershire, including venues like The Dodford Inn, Curradine Barns and The Firs at Hanbury. I also cover nearby areas such as Worcester, Malvern, Bromsgrove, Redditch and Kidderminster. Having worked at these venues before, I understand how each space flows and how to make the most of the light and surroundings throughout the day.
What is your photography style?
EXPAND
My approach is relaxed and documentary-led, focusing on real moments as they naturally happen. Most of the day, you will barely notice I am there. I will step in when needed, but I am not there to stage moments or turn the day into a photoshoot. The aim is always to capture the day honestly, so the photos feel natural and true to how it actually felt.
How much does a Worcestershire wedding photographer cost?
EXPAND
Wedding photography in Worcestershire can vary depending on coverage and what is included. Most couples I work with invest around £1495 for full-day coverage, which gives enough time to tell the full story of the day properly, from morning preparations through to the evening.
Do you help with posing or is everything candid?
EXPAND
A bit of both. Most of the day is captured naturally, but I will step in during couple portraits to give some gentle direction so you feel comfortable and do not end up wondering what to do with yourselves. Nothing stiff or overly posed, just enough guidance to keep things relaxed and looking like you.
Have you photographed at our venue before?
EXPAND
There is a good chance I have if you are getting married at one of Worcestershire’s more popular venues. But even if I have not, that is never a problem. I approach every wedding in the same way, reading the light, the space and the pace of the day as it unfolds so I can capture it naturally.
How far in advance should we book?
EXPAND
Most couples book 12 to 24 months in advance, especially for peak summer dates. If you already have your venue booked, it is worth getting in touch sooner rather than later to check availability.
Do you travel outside Worcestershire?
EXPAND
Yes, I do. While I regularly photograph weddings across Worcestershire, I also travel throughout the UK. If you are planning something further afield, just send over the details and I can let you know if I am available.
