Georgia & Kim’s wedding at Mythe Barn was exactly the kind of day I love to photograph, nothing forced, nothing staged, just two brilliant people having a day that actually felt like them. Big laughs, genuine moments, and wood fired pizza.

Both of them got ready at Mythe Barn, each with their own bubble of calm-meets-chaos. Georgia was surrounded by the buzz of bridesmaids, tunes and someone panic-googling how to tie a bow properly. Kim had her own quiet crew, and this energy about her like, yep, this is happening, in the best way. No nerves, just that smile that doesn't shift all day.

No over-the-top stuff. Just two people completely locked into the moment. A few happy tears. A couple of nervous giggles. The kind of silence that says everything.

Then they walked out together, hand in hand, absolutely beaming. And you could see it, clear as day, in everyone’s faces. That this was exactly how it was meant to be.

Outside, the sun showed up early, fizz in hand. Everyone spilled out onto the lawn and straight into catch-ups, hugs, and a few near misses with champagne flutes. It was relaxed, full of laughter, and exactly the kind of atmosphere Georgia and Kim were hoping for.

The speeches hit just right. Nothing dragged, nothing awkward. A few tears, loads of laughter, and you could tell everyone there was fully behind these two. No dodgy stories, no one trying to be a stand-up act, just proper warmth from people who knew them best.

Mythe Barn’s got that perfect balance. It looks great in every direction but still feels relaxed. We didn’t disappear off for hours. No staged nonsense. Just a few natural portraits here and there, nothing forced.

I dipped in and out while Georgia and Kim got to actually enjoy their wedding day. No “can we just grab you for one more” every five minutes. They chatted, laughed, had a drink in their hand most of the time. Exactly how it should be.

The evening kicked off proper once the sun started dipping behind the trees. That golden light broke through just right and gave us a moment that felt like it had been queued up on purpose. Then Georgia stepped onto the dancefloor with her dad and pulled out a full-on rehearsed routine. Not a slow shuffle, either — proper moves, crowd loving it. Set the tone for the rest of the night. Laughter, dancing, people fully in it.

Next stop was the pizza, and they absolutely smashed it.
