WHAT’S INCLUDED — THE Short Story
The Short Story is built for registry offices, civil ceremonies and genuinely shorter celebrations.

It gives me enough time to photograph arrivals immediately before the ceremony, the ceremony itself, the congratulations afterwards, a small set of family photographs and some time together nearby.

It’s concise by design. You’re not paying for half a day you don’t need, and I’m not pretending we can squeeze preparations, speeches and a dance floor into two hours.

How it works — the short story
When two hours genuinely works
Two hours works best when the ceremony and the photographs afterwards happen in one place, or very close together.

A typical booking begins shortly before the ceremony and finishes after the confetti or exit, congratulations, family photographs and a short walk together. That’s enough when everything is close and the wedding has been planned around a smaller celebration.

If the ceremony is longer, there’s travel between locations or you want more of the reception photographed, the schedule may need more room. I’ll look at the timings before you book and tell you honestly whether The Short Story fits.

The aim is to make two hours work properly, not promise seven different parts of the day and race through all of them.

Frequently asked questions
How many photographs will we receive?

Most two-hour weddings produce around 100 to 200 finished photographs.

The exact number depends on the ceremony, number of guests and how much happens during the coverage. I don’t pad galleries with near-duplicates to reach an artificial target.
What happens before the wedding?

We’ll meet on a video call before the day to work through the timings, family photographs, venue logistics and anything that matters personally.

That gives me the structure I need without turning a small wedding into a minute-by-minute production.
Can we add more time, and what happens with travel?

Additional hours can be added for £150, though, If the schedule needs more than four hours, The Half Story gives you six hours and is normally the cleaner option.

Travel within 50 miles of Evesham is included.

HOW IT WORKS — AVAILABILITY

When The Short Story is available

The Short Story is available for weekday weddings, quieter months and selected dates booked at shorter notice.

Availability is more limited on high-demand Fridays and Saturdays because those dates are normally reserved for longer weddings. That doesn’t automatically mean the answer is no, so send me the date and I’ll give you a straightforward answer.

how it works — AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHS
Aerial photographs when they add something
Aerial photographs may be taken where they genuinely add something and where the venue, weather, location and flight restrictions allow.

They can’t be guaranteed, and two hours is too short to hold up the wedding simply because I want to fly the drone. If the complete group fits comfortably in an ordinary photograph, that may be the more sensible option.

Six hours when the wedding needs more room
If you want preparations, a longer drinks reception, the wedding breakfast or speeches included, two hours probably isn’t the right collection.

The Half Story gives you six continuous hours placed around the part of the wedding you most want photographed.
